The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is planning to introduce Night Vihar Tour Package to let tourists trek through the dense woods of Visakhapatnam in the middle of the night.
For the first time ever, the Araku forests have been made reachable to trekkers willing to explore the wilderness at night. To accomplish this tour, representatives of the forest and tourism department will accompany the tourists for the night time visit to ensure their safety. Jeeps will be used for visiting the forests for Night Vihar. In addition, the forest authorities have taken the possible measures to keep the tourists assured of their safety.
The short-cut to Araku via Sunkarametta from Vizag or Visakhapatnam has been chosen for conducting Night Vihar tours.
Araku is connected through both rail and road to Visakhapatnam. Araku railway station is located on the Kothavalasa-Kirandul railway line of Visakhapatnam division of the East Coast Railway on the Indian Railways network.

Upon arrival at Araku Valley you will be picked up and proceed further for the site seeing of following places of interest.
Araku tribal Museum, Gardens, Chapurai and proceed to the resort.Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay at the resort.
